December 1st

Something new has appeared in the neighborhood!

It's a snowman!

Actually it's not that new. It's another part of the Grand Emporium's holiday decorations, so it gets set up every year. And, even though it gets pretty cold and windy in the streets of Lego City, it doesn't snow much until after Christmas. So, it's not even made of real snow. It's one of those ones inflatable ones with a motor to keep blowing air into it so it stays puffed up.

Every year, the snowman signals the start of the holiday shopping season from its spot on the corner. The Handyman sets it up, then takes a break and starts sipping something warm. Most years, before he finishes that first drink, Pam has seen the top hat, broom, and carrot nose from across the street and is heading inside to shop!
